Church Council
Church Council is responsible for oversight of Trinity United Church, with guidance from the United Church of Canada. Council is comprised of a Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, the Minister, and a member from each of the following groups:
Trustees
This group is responsible for the building and assets of the church. The Investments Committee is a sub-group of the Trustees.
Community Life Committee
This group oversees social events including our monthly Coffee Hour, fundraising events such as our annual Holiday Market, and outreach programs/events including the Junior Youth Group. This group also helps to support members of the community who are going through times of challenge or transition. We always welcome new volunteers to help with this committee’s work.
Worship, Music and Education
This group oversees the planning of Sunday services, special services, and Sunday School.
Ministry and Personnel Committee
This group support our church staff.
Finance Committee
This group is tasked with caring for the financial health of the church.
